UA rivalry ignited mid-week

Each year the two Arizona schools meet two additional times outside the Pac-10 schedule. The games do not count toward conference standings, but do count in the Territorial Cup point race.

Sacrifice runs key for baseball

In Thursday night’s extra inning loss to Cal State Bakersfield, the ASU baseball team repeatedly missed opportunities by not executing sacrifice plays late in the contest.

Roadrunners top Sun Devils in extra innings

The Roadrunners were pests, hanging around throughout the game until they finally broke through with a Cael Brockmeyer game-winning solo home run in the top of the tenth to defeat the No. 11 Sun Devils, 2-1.
