It was only fitting that the ASU softball team walked off with a win against Portland State.
It took 12 innings for the ASU softball team to defeat Portland State Friday.
The ASU softball team extended its winning streak to 13 games after defeating Portland State 6-5 in a marathon 12-inning game.
The ASU softball team will adjust from tournament play to facing an individual school in a four-game series against Portland State from Feb. 22 to Feb. 24.

Alix Johnson has been a shining leader since last season when she won a First Team All-America spot. She has continued her success following her first home run of the season, which tied her for 15th all time at ASU. The team is currently 12-0 midway through their second invitational of the year, the Littlewood Classic.
