On August 22, ASU athletics announced that each football home game would feature an “Honor Row” – a row dedicated to members of the United States armed forces. The first row of section 31 at Sun Devil Stadium has been decorated in maroon and gold camouflage. This new addition adds to the many traditions ASU practices in honoring veterans and servicemen and women. Current ASU ROTC cadets and veterans alike, already humbled by the university’s support of our nation’s troops, are expressing their gratitude that an institution as large as ASU is still doing its part to acknowledge the sacrifices made by a few brave men and women. Honor Rows will also be available to members of the armed forces at upcoming basketball games at Wells Fargo Arena and baseball games at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. Tickets to the Honor Row at Sun Devil Stadium were donated by Arizona State Athletics and are reserved for active military members, their families, and veterans.
