Francisco's new leg

It took eight months for Francisco Javier Coronado Galindo to get a prosthesis after his right leg was amputated. Coronado Galindo, a farmer from Ciudad ConstituciĆ³n, Mexico, came to Phoenix in February to get the prosthesis with the help of a nonprofit organization called the Flying Samaritans. Because of the Flying Samaritans and Phoenix Orthotics & Prosthetics Labs, Coronado Galindo received the prosthesis -- a $20,000 leg -- free of charge.
