Slideshow: Protesters March Against the War in Syria
September 8, 2013Anti-war protesters took to Mill Avenue on Saturday night to let their opposition toward any American action in the Syrian strife be heard. The group assembled at Tempe Beach Park and later marched down the street carrying signs. The group will continue to march every Saturday night.

April 21, 2013Fifty students and community members met at Old Main on Sunday night to hold a vigil for victims of the bombing at the Boston Marathon. April 21, 2013American Indian dancers and drummers from across the U.S. and Canada gathered to participate in ASU Pow Wow, a three-day dance and music competition held at the ASU Band Practice Field. Slideshow: 2013 Phoenix Pride Parade
April 8, 2013The annual Phoenix Pride Parade was held on Saturday, April 6 and covered a 1-mile distance between Thomas and Indian School Roads in Phoenix. Participants and spectators were often seen dressed in bright colors and rainbow hues. At the end of the parade, a few churches showed their support for the LGBTA community while other church groups told the community that they were doomed for hell. The churches against the LGBTA community were separated by barricades while the two groups shouted at each other. Read about ASU's all-inclusive sorority celebrating Pride here.
