As hockey continues to gain popularity in the unlikely state of Arizona, the ASU women's hockey team proved they deserve to be taken seriously on the collegiate stage. The team headed to Nationals for the third consecutive year — even with a roster dominated by freshman this past season — showcasing the team's talent.

Beyond their success on the ice, the Sun Devil players have also made an impact in the community, training with the local Arizona Kachinas players and inspiring young girls who attend their games to lace up some skates and embrace the sport of hockey.  ASU lost 2-3 to St. Louis in game 2 of the ACHA National Championships on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, but left a hopeful "thank you" message to fans on Instagram.
