Members of ASU's Derby Devils compete in a bout at the ASU Sun Devil Fitness Complex Gold Gym on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025 in Tempe.

The ASU Derby Devils, an all-inclusive roller derby team, are making a fierce comeback at Arizona State University.

Originally disbanded during the COVID-19 pandemic, the club has been rebuilt in recent years by passionate and determined students eager to bring the sport back to campus.

The team practices every Monday and Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. on ASU’s Tempe campus in the SDFC gym. For those new to roller derby, the Derby Devils host "newbie" orientations throughout the semester, welcoming students of all skill levels.
