Maroon & Gold Dollars are a different type of rich. If you're on campus a lot, M&G offers a great way for grab and go meals, ensuring that busy people get their nutrition in.

M&G spends on a one-to-one ratio basis, but you can get a bonus with the more you buy. But with so many options, where are the most cost-effective places to grab a bite to eat when on the go? Don't be scared, we've got you covered.

5. Cartel Coffee

If you're on the north side of campus, where there are not a lot of food options, try visiting Cartel Coffee in Durham Hall. With a quiet, chill vibe, this coffee shop contains many milk alternatives and offers a variety of breakfast items.

The prices are relatively affordable, making this coffee shop more accessible to students who are frequently on campus.

4. Food trucks on campus

There are also great local food trucks on campus during the day. Around Coor Hall and by the bookstore, these food trucks accept M&G and have quick-bite options like tacos, coffee and more. With efficient lines for short breaks between classes, these accessible food trucks come in handy to avoid the hullabaloo of other dining spots.

The Spaghetti Shack, one of various food trucks on the ASU Tempe campus, sits near Memorial Union on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025.

3. Cafe at Vista (Previously known as ASBrew Coffee)

Located near Vista del Sol, the Cafe at Vista recently started accepting M&G. With a selection of espresso drinks, lattes and mochas, this cafe has many pick-me-up options when you're on the go. They also sell bagels and breakfast sandwiches, which can provide fast nutrition for when you're on campus early or around lunchtime.

Strategically located near the Engineering Center and Wexler Hall, The Crêpe Club has a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options. The paninis offer a grab-and-go lunch option, as they're densely packed with lots of meat and toppings and it's finished within five minutes of ordering. If you're looking for a quick coffee pick-me-up, The Crêpe Club also prepares drinks that give an energy boost.
