From the program's founding, Arizona State University football has played 33 bowl games with 15 wins, 17 losses and one tie. As the Sun Devils head off to Atlanta to attempt win number 16 at the Peach Bowl on Wednesday, they carry a legacy of bowl victories dating back decades.

Here’s a look at ASU’s history of bowl game victories, featuring student reporting and photography from the State Press archives dating back to the team’s first bowl game nearly 85 years ago.
