ASU track and field secured seven top-three finishes at the Arkansas Qualifier on Friday in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Senior Antonio Mitchell II took home two of those seven top-three finishes. In the men's 60 meters qualifiers, he qualified with a time of 6.77 seconds, the fastest among all runners. He secured second place in the finals with a time of 6.81 seconds.
Mitchell II also secured third place in the men's 200 meters, finishing with a time of 21.28 seconds.
Senior Tommi Hintnaus and sophomore Sevanna Hanson tied for third place in the women's pole vault, both clearing the 4.1-meter height on their first attempt but failing to clear the 4.2-meter height. Junior Hayley Rayburn finished the event in seventh place after clearing the 4.1-meter height on her third attempt and failing to clear the 4.2-meter height.
Junior Ta'nalya Gordon finished sixth in the women's long jump, jumping for a distance of 5.77 meters.
In the men's pole vault, redshirt junior Cole Riddle cleared the 5.06 and 5.21-meter heights but failed to clear the 5.36-meter height, finishing in third place.
Junior Sydnee Larkin earned seventh place in the women's triple jump, recording a distance of 12.50 meters. Sophomore Christina Warren jumped for a distance of 12.15 meters to earn ninth place in the event.
In the women's 60-meter hurdles, sophomore Keira Christie-Galloway qualified for the finals with a time of 8.36 seconds. In the finals, Christie-Galloway placed fifth with a time of 8.31 seconds.
Senior Kentre Patterson and freshman Jamar Marshall Jr. qualified in the men's 60-meter hurdles with times of 8.02 seconds and 8.07 seconds, respectively. In the finals, Patterson placed fifth with a time of 7.86 seconds and Marshall Jr. placed sixth with a time of 7.88 seconds.
Sophomore Vincent Mauri finished the men's one mile in second place with a time of 4:08.82.
In the women's one mile, sophomores Lena Lebrun and Caitlin Rose placed seventh and ninth with times of 4:51.82 and 4:53.70, respectively.
In the men's 400 meters, junior Dubem Nwachukwu finished in fourth place with a time of 47.1 seconds.
Sophomore Arius Williams finished 13th in the women's 400 meters with a time of 57.22 seconds.
Senior Adam Meyer finished the men's 800 meters in fifth place with a time of 1:52.33.
In the Sun Devils' last event of the day, senior Fearghal Curtin secured second place in the men's 3,000 meters, finishing with a time of 8:02.95.
ASU track and field will compete next at the Texas Tech Shootout on Feb. 12 and 13 in Lubbock, Texas.
