We can all be reduced to what side of TikTok we're on, so I decided to do the same for all 16 ASU colleges.
Find the college you attend and let us know your thoughts on Twitter and Facebook.
W.P. Carey School of Business: Straight TikTok
There is no doubt in my mind the W.P. Carey School of Business is on straight TikTok and would have its own hype house with new dance trends every week. Sure, it's a little basic, but own it because straight TikTok creators end up making some serious bank on the app.
Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts: Alt TikTok
I know you expected Herberger to be theater TikTok, but that was too obvious and let's be honest, theater TikTok is on alt-TikTok anyway. From dying its hair with the Scott Pilgrim sound to doing the pop-punk accent challenge, the Herberger Institute has always been an alt kid deep down. It should be noted that Shrek TikTok was a close second. Glee TikTok was the third choice. I put a lot of thought into this.
Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering: Phineas and Ferb TikTok
Do I even need to explain this one? The engineering school is obviously on Phineas and Ferb TikTok, bopping to Dr. Doofenshmirtz and recreating Candace's iconic songs like "SIMP (Squirrels in My Pants)." Plus, these "-inators" are really why ASU is No. 1 in innovation.
College of Global Futures: Deep TikTok
I'm not going to lie, I have no idea what this college is and it took some deep diving on the ASU website to figure it out. Hence, the College of Global Futures is deep TikTok. And, after figuring out what it is, this college is definitely elite.
College of Health Solutions: Fitness TikTok
This one is self-explanatory, but the College of Health Solutions definitely duets fitness influencers and gives great workout advice and health tips to beginners.
Barrett, the Honors College: Handwriting TikTok
I just know that Barrett, the Honors College has good handwriting and brags about it on the app. There's a bit of a superiority complex among some students, but no one can deny how aesthetically pleasing handwriting videos are to watch โ if you have the patience to make it through to the end of those videos ... and just like the Honors College, I most likely won't.
College of Integrative Sciences and Arts: Draco Malfoy TikTok
There is no doubt in my mind the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts excessively reads Wattpad and Episode stories, which is why Draco Malfoy TikTok is a perfect fit. Just like Malfoy TikTok, the college can be whatever you make of it, from a self-insert point-of-view to a desperate attempt to get Tom Felton to duet your video.
New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences: Plant TikTok
The New College loves to garden and showcase their little family of succulents on plant TikTok. They probably offer pointers about how much to water each plant and cute pot DIYs for plant lovers and newbies alike.
Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication: Hank Green TikTok
If the Cronkite School was on TikTok, I know it would be to fact check everything on the app, just like Hank Green. It's helpful and mildly annoying, just like every Cronkite kid I know โ including myself.
Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law: Messy TikTok
No one can convince me the law school is not on messy TikTok. Between the drama and attempts to figure out who is actually in the wrong, the school of law would be commenting "sus" on every video only to be sent a link to a new video showing the other side.
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences: Homestead TikTok
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is on homestead, maybe even cottagecore, TikTok. It's weirdly comforting and just a good place to be. I've got nothing more to say about it, just keep doing you.
Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation: Medical Mystery TikTok
Another straightforward one, but the Edson College would be analyzing videos of TikTokers sharing their medical horror stories and mysteries trying to figure out what the issue was before part two comes out.
Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions: Woke TikTok
The Watts College is on the app's version of public service: woke TikTok. The public service and community solutions school would comment on offensive videos and duet them explaining why they are problematic.
Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College: Teacher TikTok
I know it sounds obvious, but I went through three different TikTok options for Mary Lou Fulton before remembering teacher TikTok exists. I honestly believe the Teachers College would attempt to roast students while also getting burnt from their retorts.
Thunderbird School of Global Management: I'm An Accountant TikTok
Remember that sound where he sings "nobody asks you questions when you say you're an accountant"? Because that to me is the essence of the Thunderbird School of Global Management. You also know Thunderbird students all have a secret side just like this TikTok sound.
University College: Prank TikTok
I'm not convinced that University College is even an actual school. Upon looking through the official website five times, I'm pretty sure it's just an organized platform for programs or services for students. For this reason, University College is on prank TikTok because they really had me fooled for a minute.
