With Zoom classes in full swing and COVID-19 restrictions still in place, fall fashion has taken on an entirely new meaning. Check out the biggest trends of Fall 2020 that you can show off on the half of your body that’s actually visible on camera:

Skirt Suits

Skirt suits are perfect for days you want to dress to impress without the hassle of wearing pants. Classic vintage skirt suits will be in style for decades to come and are usually well-made, so they’re sure to last you for years to come.

They’re incredibly stylish and easy to find at any thrift store, so go invest those $8 that you would’ve wasted on your daily Starbucks on an outfit that will have you put together with no work.

ASU students can go for one of these trendy high street options from ASOS or Boohoo.

Try out these styling options for your new pieces:

  • Button up your blazer and wrap a wide black belt around it to clinch in the waist.
  • Pair your skirt set with a basic crop top for a sleek look.

Ruffles

Bring your Victorian gothic aesthetic to the Zoom call with the ruffle trend. Alberta Ferretti and Balmain featured ruffled collars, ruffled hemlines and entirely tiered ruffled dresses. So, anything goes. Try this season’s standout: the ruffled dress

  • Pair it with a beret for a chic model-off-duty winter look.
  • For a summer-to-fall transition outfit, grab a light neutral toned coat.
  • Pair your dress with this headband accessory for a whimsical evening look.

Jewel Tones

Drawing from autumn leaves, this fall's major color trend is jewel tones. Pantone's color palette for this season highlights bold colors, from their mustardy-orange Amberglow to moody Magenta Purple.
