From roasted turkey to warm pumpkin pie, the Callahan house was filled with a delicious Thanksgiving meal and over twenty students from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
For the past 11 years, the Cronkite school's dean, Christopher Callahan, has opened his home to freshmen for Thanksgiving dinner.
For students who cannot make it home for the holiday, Dean Callahan arranged for a bus to pick students up from Taylor Place. Journalism freshmen Ashley Engle and Brendan O'Keeffe explain the financial issues with buying plane tickets home for the holiday.
