During a Thursday evening protest outside Tempe City Hall in response to the fatal shooting of 14-year-old Antonio Arce by a Tempe police officer, one of our magazine columnists, Ben Cooper, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault against a police officer.
Cooper was one of four protestors arrested Thursday evening.
Cooper was protesting on his own behalf and was not in attendance on behalf of The State Press.
