The Sun Devil basketball team kicked off their men's season with a 104-76 win over Arizona Christian University. However, head coach Bobby Hurley was not impressed with the defensive effort in the win and still wants to see improvement before the regular season gets underway.

Bobby Hurley: [00:56] I just think it's a sign that we need to wake up or I need to reevaluate what I think our strengths are because I've seen a lot of hunger in our gym, in our workouts, our practices for the most part to generate stops, and that didn't carry over to this performance, so we're not thrilled about that.
