Video: Southwestern diplomat in residence conducts resources workshop for ASU students

Diplomat Kenneth P. Chavez discusses foreign policy career and educational opportunities available for ASU students

ASU students attend the Ask a Diplomat event led by Kenneth P. Chavez, U.S. Department of State Diplomat in Residence for the Southwest, in Tempe, Arizona, on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018. 



On August 29th, Arizona State University hosted Foreign Service Officer and Diplomat in Residence for the Southwestern United States, Kenneth P. Chavez, for an informational session detailing various employment and education opportunities available through the United States State Department. Attendees of the workshop left with a greater knowledge of the scholarships, internships and careers available for students interested in a career of foreign service.
