Dali Sun

Dali Sun works on a mobile microscope prototype on Nov. 2, 2017 at the Biodesign Institute that allows healthcare providers to detect diseases early and affordably.

ASU Biodesign Institute researcher Tony Hu and postdoctoral researcher Dali Sun turned a smart phone into a powerful dark-field microscope. The affordability and mobility of the microscope allows third world countries, rural areas and healthcare providers to detect diseases early.
