Tempe Police reported the following incidents Wednesday:

A Phoenix man was arrested on April 19 in the 2000 block of South Mill Avenue on suspicion of burglary, having an outstanding warrant and shoplifting, according to a police report.

The man was seen by employees shoplifting a Snickers, Almond Joy, Hot Pocket and a water bottle from a Walgreens, police reported.

The Walgreens employee called officers who contacted the man, according to the report.

The man had a check from a restaurant made out to someone else, which the restaurant had reported missing, police reported.

The man admitted to shoplifting at Walgreens but not to the restaurant burglary, according to the report.

The man was transported to Tempe City Jail, where he was booked and held to see a judge, police reported.

A California man was arrested on April 19 on South Priest Drive and the U.S. Route 60 on suspicion of possessing a forged item and falsifying a drivers license, according to a police report.

The man was stopped for a traffic violation after he made a left turn from the second lane of traffic, police reported.

Officers checked the man's drivers license but the number redirected them to a 52-year-old woman and the man had a different driver's license number associated with his information, according to the report.

The man told officers he bought his license from a friend but only uses it to drive, police reported.

The man also had a forged Social Security card, U.S. Permanent Resident card and a California ID on his person, according to the report.

The man was transported to Tempe City Jail, where he was booked, police reported.
