Suspended ASU football linebacker Davon Durant pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct Thursday, according to the Maricopa County Superior Court.

Durant was being charged on three misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and one count of felony aggravated assault after his girlfriend said he choked her, according to the police report.

One witness said he saw a man slam the woman’s head into the dashboard of a vehicle twice, while another witness said he was in his apartment when he heard a woman scream, according to the police report.

The woman told police two days later that she lied about Durant choking and hitting her, according to the police report.

According to Durant's plea, the other counts will be dismissed at Durant's sentencing, the Maricopa County Superior Court said.

Durant, a former five-star prospect who is suspended indefinitely, previously pleaded not guilty to all three counts of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and one count of felony aggravated assault on March 25.

Durant was arrested on March 6 amid suspicion that he assaulted his girlfriend, Kelsi Langely, according to the police report.

Langely has since recanted her statement in a press conference.

Durant was since removed from the official ASU football roster.

Durant is expected to be sentenced for one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct on June 15, according to the Maricopa County Superior Court.
