A 24-year-old Mesa man was arrested on the 400 block of South Mill Avenue on suspicion of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession, according to a police report.

The man was contacted while sitting in a gazebo in a back alley on the 400 block of South Mill Avenue, according to the report. He was with a group of people and holding a 40-ounce bottle of liquor, police reported.

The man showed officers his identification card and a records check showed that he had an outstanding warrant out of Mesa for disorderly conduct, police reported.

Officers found marijuana and rolling tobacco inside a Bugles bag in his front right pants pocket during a search, according to the report.

The man was transported to Tempe City Jail, where he was booked and held to see a judge, police reported.
