The ASU football team finished 12th in the AP poll, but the coaches weren't as nice to the Sun Devils, ranking them 14th in the country. In the AP poll, ASU finished ahead of Wisconsin and Missouri, but the coaches ranked them 13th and 11th, respectively.
Heading into bowls, ASU was 16th in the Amway Coaches' Poll, so the Sun Devils moved up two spots, passing UA, Ole Miss and Kansas State (all bowl game losers), while Wisconsin leaped ASU.
