The ASU baseball team opens this season as one of three Pac-12 teams in DIbaseball.com's preseason Top 25, checking in at No. 24, just ahead of Tennessee.
Prior to the 2014 season, The Sun Devils were ranked No. 19 in the ESPN/USA TODAY Coaches' poll.
ASU finished its final season at Packard Stadium with a 33-24 overall record, falling to Sacramento State in the San Luis Obispo regional. ASU's last appearance in a top 25 ranking was at No. 18 Collegiate Baseball's Top 30 on May 26.
The Oregon Ducks, ending conference play a game behind ASU in the Pac-12 standings and going 44-20 overall, checked in at No. 22.
UCLA, the 2013 national champion, jumped all the way to No. 4 despite a 25-30 record and a ninth-place finish in conference.
