It has been an eventful first half for ASU hockey. Coming off it's first-ever ACHA championship, the team is currently ranked No. 1 in the country and has dropped only two games so far.
Perhaps the biggest news of the fall, though, came off the ice as Athletic Director Ray Anderson announced that the team would begin transitioning into NCAA Division 1 status over the next several seasons.
