Despite once sitting at the No. 6 team in the nation, ASU football will be looking up at UA when the rivals face off in Tucson this Friday. ASU comes in at No. 13 in this week's College Football Rankings while UA is just outside the top 10 at No. 11.

The Sun Devils were already behind the Wildcats in both AP and Coaches Polls which were announced on Sunday and now they trail in the only rankings that matter for the four-team playoff.

Pac-12 South rival and current leader UCLA is No. 8, the highest-ranked two-loss team in the nation.

Oregon is the No. 2 team in the country, behind only Alabama. Both teams have identical 10-1 records.

While USC dropped out of the rankings, Utah hung around as the No. 25 team despite a big home loss to UA last weekend.

One of the biggest storylines surrounding this week's rankings was the arrival of undefeated Marshall. The Thundering Herd is one of just two undefeated teams in the nation along with Florida State but due to poor strength of schedule Marshall had not been given a spot in the Top 25 until now.

2. Oregon

3. Florida State

4. Mississippi State

5. TCU

6. Ohio State
