(Photo by Alexis Macklin)After fans had been voting for weeks on ASU's uniforms for the Sun Devil's homecoming game against No. 18 Utah, it was announced that they would wear maroon jerseys with black pants and helmets.
The winning combination was announced by AZ Central Sports on Sunday night.

ASU didn't wear this same combination in any game last season and will be the third time the Sun Devils don black helmets this season.
Earlier this season against USC, the team wore a similar combination with black pants and helmets along with white jerseys.
In 2013 AZ Central hosted a fan vote to determine ASU's uniform combination for the team's matchup with Colorado.
During that polling, fans selected a combination of maroon helmets and jerseys with gold pants which received more than 600 votes more than the winning combination from 2014.
The two other options available for fans to vote on this year were a combination of black helmets and jerseys with gold pants or a combination of gold helmets, black jerseys and white pants.
Last year against the Utes, ASU wore white jerseys and pants with maroon helmets in a road victory for the Sun Devils.
