The ASU baseball program announced its 2015 schedule Tuesday, signaling the start of a new era under coach Tracy Smith at its new facility, Phoenix Municipal Stadium.
ASU will play 32 games at Phoenix Muni in 2015, including an 18-game homestand featuring two non-conference opponents — Big-12 heavyweights Oklahoma State and TCU.
"Our 2015 schedule provides us with an opportunity to prove ourselves against some of the best teams in the nation as well showcase the new home of Sun Devil baseball," Smith said. “We are looking forward to moving into our new home as we begin the next chapter of ASU Baseball.”
The Phoenix Muni Classic replaces the Sanderson Ford Classic at Surprise Stadium, and will feature Cal State Bakersfield, Gonzaga, and Purdue from Feb. 26 to March 1, 2015.
ASU's conference road trips include jaunts to Oregon, Washington, USC, and Utah, while UA appears five times on the Sun Devil calendar: April 10-12 in Phoenix, and April 22 and 28 at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson.
ASU is slated to host Stanford, 2013 national champion UCLA, Oregon State and Washington State in Pac-12 play.
