Liberty Market – E61 Espresso Bar 230 N Gilbert Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85234 480-892-1900 Sunday - Thursday: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday - Saturday: 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.

As far as food is concerned, downtown Gilbert boasts some of the best and most memorable establishments in the East Valley. But none of these restaurants dominate the downtown scene as much as Liberty Market has over the past few years. With a prime location and a beautiful building situated on the corner of Gilbert Road and Page Avenue, Liberty is arguably the main draw to the downtown area.

It’s hardly a surprise. With impeccable food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a gorgeous interior space, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a time of day when the restaurant isn’t full.

But, the hidden gem of Liberty Market is undoubtedly its selection of coffee. With its own artisan area in the northeast corner of the establishment, Liberty Market’s E61 Espresso Bar stands to make one of the best cups of coffee you’ll find in Gilbert, and in the East Valley in general.

With a vintage FAEMA E61 Espresso Machine built in Milan, Italy, the bar is visually stunning and complements the warm, sensual aesthetic of the restaurant. With such impressive, authentic Italian machinery, it is imperative you order one of E61’s signature cappuccinos, served in the standard 5 oz. glass. If you’re not in the mood for a cappuccino, grab one of their delicious lattes or a French press.

In addition to brewing excellent coffee, the bar serves up a selection of delectable desserts to savor, chief among them the signature cheesecake in a jar. Enjoy your coffee and cake in the morning when it’s slow, while gazing out of the floor-to-ceiling windows of Liberty Market. The design lets an abundance of beautiful sunlight stream in and allows you to watch passersby stroll up and down Gilbert Road. With such a relaxed and comfortable viewing atmosphere to enjoy a cup of coffee in the quietly charming town of Gilbert, once you’ve had a taste of the coffee at Liberty Market, it’ll be impossible for you to not return.
