On March 1st, ASU students, Arizona Forward and school communities of Brophy College Preparatory, Central High School, St. Francis Xavier and Xavier College Preparatory, showcased student art-themed projects for their vision for canal enhancements themed around shade, water, bridges and connectivity.
The event took place at the Grand Canal between Central Avenue and Seventh Street. Color Canalscape is meant to engage students and the community to change the Valley’s canals. It is also formed to show how canals can be a cultural oasis.
