Tempe Police reported the following incidents Monday:

A 32-year-old Apache Junction man was arrested Sept. 29 on the 600 block of South Mill Avenue on suspicion of assault with intent to injure, threatening and intimidating as a gang member and disorderly conduct, according to a police report.
Officers were originally called to Fat Tuesday, because the man was disturbing the business, the report said.
The man had been reportedly yelling and cursing at another patron of the bar, police said.
A bouncer tackled the man after he tried to climb over a metal railing to get to the man he was yelling at and was held down until police arrived, according to the report.
While in handcuffs, the man threatened police, saying he would punch them if the handcuffs were taken off, police said.
The man also cursed at the officers and called them names, the report said.
Officers reported while he was in the back of a police car he shouted, “Eastside La Victoria,” which police said is known to stand for the La Victoria Locos street gang.
After complaining of pain in his wrist, the man was taken to a local hospital, where he was questioned about his affiliation with the La Victoria Locos, the report said.
The man told police he had family in the gang and was born into it because of his family’s involvement, police said.
He told police he was also a high-ranking member of the Arizona Mexican Mafia, the report said.
He was taken to Tempe City Jail, where he was booked and held to see a judge, the report said.
While in jail, the man punched another inmate in the face and told police it was because the man was making derogatory comments about women, according to police.
He was then also charged with one count of assault, the report said.

A 52-year-old Tempe woman was arrested Oct. 2 on the 900 block of East Baseline Road on suspicion of unlawful flight from law enforcement and driving under the influence of alcohol, according to a police report.
An officer saw the woman failing to stay in her lane while driving on Rural Road, the report said.
The officer continued to follow her and reported that the woman was swerving and crossing from her lane in and out of the median.
The officer then turned on his emergency light to try and stop the woman, but instead she sped up and continued driving, according to the report.
Police reported the officer then turned on his siren, but she continued to increase her speed.
The report said the woman began reaching speeds of 50 mph, so the officer decided to stop following her.
Other officers later found the woman parking in a garage on East Baseline Road, where they detained her while she was getting out of her car, police reported.
According to police, she told officers she knew about the emergency lights behind her but did not think the officer was trying to pull her over, and she denied hearing the siren or trying to evade police.
She was booked into Tempe City Jail and cited in lieu of detention for DUI charges, the report said.
