The annual Phoenix Pride Parade was held on Saturday, April 6 and covered a 1-mile distance between Thomas and Indian School Roads in Phoenix. Participants and spectators were often seen dressed in bright colors and rainbow hues. At the end of the parade, a few churches showed their support for the LGBTA community while other church groups told the community that they were doomed for hell. The churches against the LGBTA community were separated by barricades while the two groups shouted at each other. Read about ASU's all-inclusive sorority celebrating Pride here.
