Winter days are coming to a close, and swim season is on the horizon. Its crazy to think we’re almost halfway through the Spring semester, and Spring break is in only two weeks. I’m not sure if you have any travel plans, but I know many of us are hitting the road to many spring break destinations with bikinis in our suitcases. But how do we prepare?
I luckily had the opportunity to do an interview with Nikki of Swimspot, a new boutique located down the road in the SanTan Village mall. According to Nikki, “SwimSpot is a one-stop-shop for all things swim, offering stylish women’s swimwear and one-on-one fit help to ensure poolside perfection.” With her experience and expertise in the bikini field I couldn’t think of a better person to ask what this season’s swimsuit trends are. Her bikini style muse is Lisa Vogel if that gives you any perspective to the inside of Nikki’s fashionista mind.
Nikki says “Crop tops are strong for Spring Break and offer a breezy-chic look. Poppy is the hottest color of the season, and crochet is a big hit again.” So get on it spring breakers, you can’t go wrong with these three trends and fabrics.
You can find all of the styles she mentioned at Swimspot, along with the brands and designers Athena, Ella Moss, Ella Moss Girl, Hurley, Hurley Kids, Guess, LUXE by Lisa Vogel, Nautica, NEXT by Athena, Splendid and Splendid Girl. Most of swimwear they sell is designed and manufactured in Orange County, California, AKA the beach capital of the world.
And if you are needing a little more help finding the perfect suit, Swimspot also offers one-on-one fit specialist sessions so that you can find the perfect swim look to compliment your own style and body shape.
Good luck packing for your spring break vacations, and if you’re not going anywhere there will be great pool weather here!
You can find swimspot in The San Tan Village, right next to Famous Daves. Their hours are Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can also find them online at swimspot.com.
