Spark'd TV: Pretty Little Thriller

Pretty Little Liars has this weird effect on me. I don'?t religiously watch it, ?but when I do, I am that annoying person that asks questions like ?"Why is Mike all depressed and acting weird?” ?"Why is Jenna blind and what does she have to do with them?"? And most importantly ?"Who the hell is A?!? (I have to thank my friends for not completely disowning me despite these numerous attempts at understanding the show.)

However, after the most recent episode, I?'m as confused as ever. The only thing I?'m not confused about is that Officer Garrett is a definite creeper. Given all the history in past seasons where he conveniently shows up at the most opportune times, I had no doubt that he'?d show up at the investigation in the psychiatrist’s office. I do feel bad for Dr. Sullivan, though. First the girls visit her, and then next, she?'s pulled into all the drama with A.

On an unrelated note, after the debacle that was Hanna'?s dad?'s wedding reception, I was so excited to finally get some closure at the end of the episode. Unfortunately, as always, the show solves no problem, but rather, creates even more.

The only thing I don'?t like about these mystery shows is that they have you hook, line, and sinker the whole way through, and the only actual advances to the storyline happen in the last five minutes, which usually ends on a cliffhanger. Despite this noble wisdom, I fall for it every time!

What you can look forward to: Next week, Pretty Little Liars will have its Summer Finale? — a short hiatus for new episodes until later in the fall. One thing the fandom is particularly excited about is the new interview surrounding the production of their exclusive Halloween episode. This episode is a one-time special that breaks up anticipation from now until January. According to an interview with Wet Paint, Lucy Hale, who stars as Aria on the show, says, ?The Halloween episode is very cool because it'?s all a flashback, it?'s a prequel and from Alison'?s perspective.? It?'s pre-A and pre-death, so life is good. The girls are carefree and you actually get to see the girls laughing and smiling. So it'?s very fun.? Can?t wait to see what they stir up!
