Spark'd TV: Bleeding Love

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this blog post. I guess I could start by saying I’m obsessed, no, infatuated, with True Blood. It may be my ADHD, but I love how there are always subplots going on that you have to keep up with, and that overall, there are a lot of concepts that go into the main plot. Unfortunately, this will make recapping a bit overwhelming. But let’s do it!!

Sunday’s episode definitely did not disappoint. Although I normally don’t agree with Bill Compton, I am more than eager to see the demise of the witch Marnie/Antonia. Even though I particularly LOVED Eric when he was under the spell of the witches, they have certainly caused enough mayhem to the town of Bon Temps. Another side story line I’m particularly excited about is the sexual tension between Jessica and Jason. Don’t get me wrong, I think she and Hoyt were perfect together, but there’s more passion between Jessica and Jason (as seen at the end of episode nine). If there is anything I dislike about the show, it’s the fact that Sookie can’t decide between Bill and Eric. She “loves them both” blah blah, yada yada yada. Is anyone else in agreement with the fact that she needs to choose Eric and move on?!

I’d have to say the ending to the last episode was the biggest cliffhanger I’ve seen in a while. The black, leather suits, combined with the background hard-rock version of “Burning Down the House” really set the stage for the next episode.

What to expect: Tonight leaves off where Bill & Company are about to set the Magical Goddess Emporium aflame. Original fan-site True-Blood.net gives its official synopsis, describing how, “…the Wiccan-vampire standoff reaches a critical juncture, Sookie summons her faerie powers to prevent Marnie from bewitching Bill, Eric and Pam into a suicide march, while Jesus casts a secret spell designed to un-bind Antonia and break the witch’s deadly defenses.”

During all this fighting that has taken up the main story line, will we ever return to a plot about Arlene’s possessed child, a return of Tara’s girlfriend, or more details about Lafayette’s supposed “powers”? So much to look forward to—good thing they confirmed a fifth season!
