Last time (link), I told you how Boom Studios was pulling all of your favorite '90s ridiculousness and making them into comics.
Well, they’ve just been getting started, so there’s still so much more for them to do.
For some reason, my warped mind immediately wants a Bonkers comic book. The crime fighting cheetah in Toon Town would fit perfectly into the mold of modern comics.
I’m sure there’s somebody out there (not one of those creepy fan-fiction types) that’s just been holding onto all kinds of great untold Bonkers stories.
For that matter, why not TaleSpin? Or the story of the Jungle Book character Baloo and his flying pals. It’s bizarre, but screw it, it’s the '90s!
I consider bringing up Gummi Bears (bouncing here and there and everywhere), but for some reason, I remember that being a little more lame.
Whatever, bring me more '90s cartoon-based comics!
Those things are rad!
At least until Disney reclaims the rights from Boom to give them to Marvel…
