Police Beat: Nov. 22


ASU Police reported the following incidents Sunday:

  • An unknown person or persons committed theft between 8 and 9 p.m. Tuesday, police reported.A wallet belonging to a 20-year-old male student was taken from the bleachers on the north side of the Student Recreation Complex on the Tempe campus, according to a police report.

    The estimated loss is $10, police reported.

    There are no suspects, leads or witnesses, according to a report.

  • Police recovered a usable amount of marijuana Nov. 13 from the Hassayampa Academic Village on the Tempe campus, police reported.The marijuana was found in a prescription pill bottle and was impounded for destruction at the ASU Police Station, according to a police report.
  • An unknown person or persons committed burglary between Nov. 10 and 12, police reported.The driver’s side window of a vehicle belonging to a 19-year-old female student was broken, and the student’s radar detector, base and power cord were taken from the vehicle while it was parked in the Rural Road parking structure on the Tempe campus, according to a police report.

    There are no suspects, leads or witnesses, police reported.

  • An unknown person or persons committed theft around 1 p.m. Nov. 8, police reported.An Apple computer belonging to the University was taken from the ASU Salvage building on the Polytechnic campus, according to a police report.

    The estimated loss is $420, police reported.

    There are no suspects, leads or witnesses, according to a report.
