ASU Police reported the following incidents Monday:
- ASU Police located a stolen vehicle in Lot 59 North on Sunday, police reported.
The vehicle was stolen April 2 out of Phoenix. Contact was made with the victim, who was advised the vehicle was located and towed, according to a police report.
The estimated value of the vehicle recovered was $600, police reported.
- On Thursday between 2:00 and 7:40 a.m., an unknown person criminally damaged a vehicle in Parking Structure 3 on the Tempe campus, police reported.
The driver’s side valve stems were cut off, leaving the tires flat, according to a police report.
The estimated loss was $4, police reported.
- An 18-year-old Tempe woman was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police reported.
During a vehicle stop on Mill Avenue, the woman admitted to smoking marijuana, according to a police report.
A marijuana cigarette was found in the vehicles ashtray, police reported.
She was transported and booked into Tempe City Jail, according to a police report.
- A 19-year-old Santa Barbara man was arrested Friday on suspicion of being in possession of marijuana and possessing marijuana with intent to sell, police reported.
Investigation revealed a backpack on his lap where he obtained his identification and several individually packaged bags of marijuana and a scale, according to a police report.
The man was contacted as the passenger of a car during a vehicle stop and refused to answer any questions regarding the marijuana, police reported.
He was transported and booked into Tempe City Jail, according to a report.
- A 24-year-old Tempe man was arrested on Friday on suspicion of aggravated DUI and unlawful flight from law enforcement, police reported.
The man failed to stop after a Tempe police patrol vehicle turned on its lights. He initially pulled into a Fry’s grocery store parking lot at McClintock and Baseline roads, according to a police report.
His estimated speed was 70 miles per hour in a 45 zone. Approximately 15 minutes after the pursuit began, he was contacted by police and detained as he exited the driver’s seat, police reported.
The man was transported to Tempe City Jail, booked and held to see a judge, according to a police report.
