Four former ASU football players were selected in the NFL draft over the weekend.
Offensive lineman Shawn Lauvao was taken by the Cleveland Browns with the 28th pick in the third round (92nd overall), linebacker Travis Goethel was selected with the 21st pick of the sixth round (190th overall) by the Oakland Raiders, wide receiver Kyle Williams was the 37th pick of the sixth round (206th overall) by the San Francisco 49ers and defensive end Dexter Davis was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the 29th pick of the seventh round (236th overall).
ASU players signed as free agents were wide receiver Chris McGaha (Jacksonville Jaguars), running back Dimitri Nance (Atlanta Falcons) and cornerback Pierre Singfield. (Houston Texans).
