ASU Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:
- An unknown person or persons committed theft between 11 p.m. on Friday and 7 a.m. on Monday, by stealing a bicycle parked on a bike rack outside of Hassayampa Academic Village Phase II on the Tempe campus, according to a police report.
The bike belonged to a 19-year-old female undergraduate and estimated losses are not yet known, police reported.
- A 20-year-old male undergraduate was arrested Sunday at Barrett, the Honors College on the Tempe campus, on suspicion of criminal damage with intent to deface or damage property, according to a police report.
Between 3 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday, the man allegedly spilled sulfuric acid on an exit door that leads to a catwalk, and caused an estimated $1,200 in damage police reported.
- A 42-year-old man and a 40-year old man were arrested Sunday around 10 p.m. at East University Drive and South Perry Lane, near the Tempe campus, according to a police report.
The man was arrested on suspicion of driving on a suspended license after being pulled over for a civil traffic violation, police reported.
The 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of drug paraphernalia, after a glass pipe often used to ingest methamphetamine was found in the passenger seat pocket, according to a police report.
Both men were taken to the ASU Police Department, cited and released, pending the charges, according to a report.
- An unknown person or persons committed burglary between 10:45 a.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Sunday by stealing a stereo faceplate from a vehicle parked in the Vista del Sol parking structure on the Tempe campus, according to a police report.
The faceplate, which belonged to a 20-year-old male undergraduate, was estimated to be worth $350 and there are no known leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, police reported.
- An unknown person or persons committed theft between 10 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday by stealing a GPS device from the windshield of a vehicle parked in the Vista del Sol parking structure on the Tempe campus, according to a police report.
The vehicle belonged to a 19-year-old undergraduate and estimated losses are $200, police reported.
There are no known witnesses, leads or suspects, according to a report.
- An unknown person or persons committed theft Feb. 3 between 10:10 a.m. and 2 p.m., by stealing a MacBook Pro laptop along with a power cord from a dormitory room in Barrett, the Honors College on the Tempe campus, according to a police report.
The items, estimated to be worth around $1,450, belonged to an 18-year-old male undergraduate, police reported.
