Tempe police reported the following incidents Sunday:

  • A 20-year-old female ASU student was arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and on a suspended driver’s license, according to a police report.

The woman’s driver’s license was suspended due to driving under the influence in Florida, police reported.

The woman was arrested at 400 E. University Drive and transported and booked into Tempe City Jail, according to a police report.

  • A 21-year-old Avondale man was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespassing at 11:21 p.m. Thursday inside the secured parking lot of the Tempe Police Station at 1855 E. Apache Blvd, according to a police report.

Investigation revealed the man illegally entered the restricted parking lot after passing a “No Trespassing” sign, police reported.

The man admitted he knew he was trespassing because he read the “No Trespassing” sign before jumping over the concrete wall, according to a report.

He could not provide a clear reason for being in this restricted area without authorization and was transported to the Tempe City Jail, booked and held to see a judge, police reported.

  • A 36-year-old transient man was arrested Wednesday at Central Arizona Shelter Services on suspicion of committing aggravated assault by intentionally striking the rear of two women’s vehicles with his vehicle while they were inside, according to a police report.

The incident occurred Nov. 2 around 3:30 p.m. at East University Drive and South McAllister Drive, police reported.

The man had reportedly been yelling at one of the women and struck her vehicle three to four times after she ignored him. The other woman witnessed this and began honking her horn at the man, according to a police report.

He then drove behind her and struck her vehicle once and fled the scene, police reported.

He was taken to Tempe City Jail, booked and held to see a judge, according to a police report.
