ASU Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:
- An unknown person or persons committed assault and aggravated robbery Monday, around 7:50 a.m., just north of South Mill Avenue and West Tenth Street, according to a police report.
The person or persons pulled a 17-year-old male victim to the ground, repeatedly kicked him in the side, and attempted to take his backpack, according to a report.
- An unknown person or persons committed theft by stealing rims and tires from the vehicle of a 20-year-old male undergraduate between Sunday at 5 p.m. and Monday at 10 a.m., according to a police report.
The vehicle was parked in the Rural Road parking structure on the Tempe campus and the estimated loss is $3,000, police reported.
There are no known leads, witnesses or suspects, according to a report.
- A 26-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and theft of services because he did not pay for the $19.21 worth of food that he ordered from Chili’s Grill and Bar on 801 South Mill Avenue, near the Tempe campus, according to a police report.
The man was arrested between the hours of midnight and 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, police reported.
- A 29-year-old male was arrested near South McAllister Avenue and Tyler Mall on the Tempe campus on suspicion of driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level over .08 on Saturday at around 1:41 a.m., according to a police report.
The suspect was transported to the ASU Police Department where he was processed and released, according to a report.
- A 19-year-old male undergraduate was arrested at his San Pablo dorm room on the Tempe campus on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:25 p.m. on Saturday, police reported.
After knocking on the student’s door, community assistants smelled the odor of marijuana coming from his room and called the police, according to a report.
The student admitted to smoking marijuana from a glass bong, which he voluntarily gave to the arresting officer, according to a police report.
The student told police that he had used all of his marijuana and was cited and released at the scene, according to a report.
- An unknown person or persons committed theft of means of transportation by stealing a vehicle near Gammage Auditorium on Thursday between 2:50 p.m. and 3:50 p.m., according to a police report.
The vehicle belonged to an 18-year-old undergraduate and was estimated to be worth $10,000, police reported.
There are no known leads, witnesses or suspects, according to a report.
