Tempe Police reported the following incidents Monday:

An 18-year-old transient man was arrested on the 100 block of West Rio Salado Parkway early Thursday morning on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and providing false information to law enforcement, police reported.
The suspect was reportedly sleeping in a parking garage when police contacted him. He repeatedly provided a fake name before officers verified his identity from an Arizona identification card, according to a police report.
A records check indicated the man also had an outstanding warrant, police reported.
Police searched the man and reported finding rolling papers and a usable quantity of marijuana in his pocket, according to the report.
He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of possession of marijuana, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of providing false information, police reported.

A 34-year-old Gilbert man was arrested Friday afternoon on the 2000 block of East Southern Avenue on suspicion of theft and an outstanding warrant, police reported.
Investigation revealed the suspect reportedly stole five gold crowns from his dental office workplace, valued at $407, according to a police report.
The suspect had an outstanding Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office felony warrant for the theft and fraudulent use of a credit card, police reported.
He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of theft, one count of theft of a credit card and one count of fraudulent use of a credit card, according to the report.

A 29-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Friday night at South Maple Avenue and West Fifth Street in Tempe on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police reported.
The man was in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle when police reportedly noticed the smell of marijuana emanating from the passenger seat compartment of the car, according to a police report.
The man was holding a wooden “dugout” smoking box containing a usable quantity of marijuana, police reported.
He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of possession of marijuana and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the report.
ASU Police reported the following incidents Monday:

An unknown person or persons reportedly committed criminal damage by spray-painting several images of business logos on Orange Mall near the Memorial Union on the Tempe campus sometime between noon Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday, police reported.
The total estimated damage is $240, police reported.
There are no leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, according to a police report.
