ASU Police reported the following incidents Thursday:

  • Between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday, an unknown person or persons broke into a vehicle at the Sun Devil Stadium parking structure, police reported.

    The suspect broke in through the passenger window and stole stereo equipment from the car, according to a police report.

    The total estimated loss is approximately $500, police reported.

    Between 9:30 p.m. on Monday and 10 a.m. on Wednesday, an unknown person or persons stole an automatic external defibrillator (AED), police reported.

    The defibrillator was taken from a wall at Barrett, the Honors College on the Tempe campus, according to a police report.

    The total estimated loss is approximately $500, police reported.

  • Between 4 and 10 p.m. on Sept. 23 on the 1200 block of East University Drive, an unknown person or persons left a death threat under the doormat of a residence in the complex, police reported.

    The note stated: “N-word we don’t need another Barack Obama,” and went on to threaten the victim’s life, according to the police report.

    The victim said he came home and found the note underneath his doormat at his apartment, police reported.

  • Tempe Police reported the following incidents Thursday:

  • A 22-year-old Tempe man was arrested early Wednesday morning at East Rio Salado Parkway and South McClintock Drive on suspicion of possession of narcotic drugs, police reported.

    The man was contacted in a vehicle stop, according to a police report.

    After a consented search, the man was found to be in possession of a small amount of cocaine, police reported.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of possession of narcotic drugs, police reported.

  • A 20-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested early Sunday morning at East Del Rio Drive and East Balboa Drive on suspicion of possession of narcotic drugs, police reported.

    The woman was reportedly observed using heroin in a car parked on East Del Rio Drive, according to a police report.

    She was found to still be in possession of a black tar substance believed to be heroin, police reported.

    She was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of possession of narcotic drugs and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a report.
