ASU police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • The vehicle of a 20-year-old female ASU student was damaged on the Tempe campus between Feb. 5 and Feb. 6, police reported.

    The car was parked on the east side of the Vista del Sol apartment complex, according to a police report.

    The total estimated loss is $200, according to the report.

    There are no leads or suspects at this time, police reported.

  • At about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, an unknown person or persons stole a Sun Card vending machine, police reported.

    The machine was taken from the counter of a Domino’s Pizza near South

    McAllister Avenue and South Rural Road, according to a police report.

    There is one witness and one lead at this time, police reported.

    The total estimated loss is $500, according to the report.

  • An 18-year-old male ASU student reported his bike stolen from the Tempe campus between Feb. 6 and Feb. 8, police reported.

    The 2005 red Mongoose mountain bike was missing from a bike rack outside the Palo Verde West residence hall, according to a police report.

    The total estimated loss is $50, according to a police report.

Tempe police reported the following incidents Thursday:

  • A 50-year-old Tempe woman was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of possessing narcotic drugs and drug paraphernalia, police reported.

    Police stopped the woman in her vehicle at 11:55 p.m. near South Guadalupe and East Terrace roads, according to a police report.

    The woman consented to a search where police found a rock of crack cocaine in her wallet and a glass pipe used to smoke cocaine was found in her purse, according to the report.

    The woman was transported to Tempe City Jail where she was booked and released pending charges, police reported.

  • A 27-year-old Tempe man was arrested at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on suspicion of assault and possession of narcotic drugs, according to a police report.

    Police arrested the man near the 2000 block of East Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe, police reported.

    The alleged victim of the assault and independent witnesses said the man struck the victim multiple times, police reported.

    Photographs of an abrasion to the victim’s right shin were taken, according to a police report.

    The man was transported to Tempe City Jail, where a second search revealed two pills, both found in the man’s front right coin pocket, according to a police report.

    Poison control identified one pill as 5 milligrams of oxycodone and the second pill as 30 mg of oxycodone, according to a police report.

    The man was booked and released pending charges, police reported.

    The pills were submitted to the Department of Public Safety for scientific analysis, police reported.
