ASU police reported the following incident Tuesday:
- Police are investigating an on-campus burglary and bicycle theft that occurred at Palo Verde West between Dec. 17 and Jan. 18, according to a police report.
During the Christmas break an unknown person or persons removed a bicycle from the student’s dorm room, police reported.
No arrests have been made, according to the report.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Tuesday:
- A 41-year-old Phoenix man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and misconduct with a weapon Monday morning.
During a routine traffic stop at on the 1300 block of west Laird Street, police searched the man and found marijuana on his person and a knife in his boot, according to the report.
The man was booked into Tempe City Jail and released pending the charges, police reported.
- A 29-year-old Tempe man was arrested on suspicion of forgery and driving without a license Monday afternoon, police reported.
The man was stopped by police near the intersection of South Hardy Drive and West Howe Street, according to a police report.
Police searched the man after a check on his license returned no record, according to the report.
Police found a forged check in his left pocket and a Mexican driver’s license with a name different from the one on his American license, police reported.
The man was booked into Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, according to the report.
- A 23-year-old Tempe woman was arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of possession of marijuana, police reported.
The woman was stopped on the 700 block of West Southern Ave. by an officer who suspected she was driving under the influence of alcohol, according to a police report.
During the stop, the woman handed the officer a prescription bottle filled with a leafy green substance that was found to be marijuana, according to the report.
The woman was booked into Tempe City Jail and released pending charges, police reported.
- A 19-year-old Casa Grande man was arrested in the south parking lot of Arizona Mills Mall on suspicion of attempted third degree burglary and criminal damage on Sunday afternoon, according to a police report. Tempe police arrested the man after being contacted by mall security, who had observed him attempting to break into a blue Honda Civic with a screwdriver, police reported.
The man was booked into Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, according to the police report.
