Tempe police reported the following incidents Monday:

A 29-year-old Chandler man was arrested Friday at Margarita Rocks Beach Club at 410 S. Mill Avenue on suspicion of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct, police reported.
The suspect was reportedly asked by employees to leave the club several times, but refused. When an officer asked him to leave, the man responded by shoving the officer in the chest, according to the police report.
After a struggle, the officer took the suspect to the ground. The suspect then wrapped his hands around the officer’s neck and attempted to choke him, police reported.
The man was booked into Tempe City Jail and held, according to the police report.

A 22-year-old transient man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of felony theft, police reported.
The man was detained near East Baseline Road and South 48th Street, according to a police report.
The suspect reportedly asked to see an engagement ring at Kay’s Jewelers at Arizona Mills Mall and ran out of the store without paying, police reported.
Investigation revealed the man had completed a credit application five days prior to the incident and was approved for only $300. The total cost of the ring was $5,402, according to the police report.
The suspect was positively identified in a photo line-up and booked and held at Tempe City Jail, police reported.

A 48-year-old male was arrested Jan. 13 on suspicion of aggravated DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, police reported.
The man was arrested on the 3000 block of South Roosevelt Street several blocks away from the accident site, according to the police report.
Upon inspection, the officer determined the suspect’s car had severe fender damage and the driver’s side airbag was deployed, police reported.
The man admitted he had been drinking and was positively identified as the driver by the victims in the accident, according to the police report.
The man was booked and held at the Fifth Avenue Jail, police reported.

A 30-year-old Tempe woman was arrested Jan. 11 on suspicion of being in possession of dangerous drugs, drug paraphernalia and prescriptions not belonging to her, police reported.
The woman was apprehended at South Price Road and East University Drive, according to the police report.
Investigation revealed she had a pink bag of methamphetamine in her purse, a pipe under the driver’s seat of her car, a prescription-only drug not prescribed to her and small bags used for packing drugs, police reported.
The suspect was transported to Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, according to the police report.
