ASU police reported the following incidents Monday:
- At about 11:45 a.m. Friday an unknown suspect or suspects stole an ASU Panasonic HVX camera from the University Towers on the Tempe campus, police reported.
The video camera, which included attachments, was located in front of the elevators in the main lobby of the building, according to the police report.
The estimated loss is $7,380, police reported.
There are no leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, according to the police report.
- Between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 14, an unknown person or persons shattered the rear right-side window of a 23-year-old male ASU student’s car, police reported.
The car was parked in Lot 57 on Alpha Drive on the Tempe Campus, according to the police report.
The estimated damage is $200, police reported.
There are no leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, according to the police report.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Monday:
- A 39-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of being in possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia, police reported.
The suspect was stopped at the corner of north Scottsdale and east Curry roads and consented to a search, according to the police report.
Police found a syringe and a plastic bag containing an unknown white substance believed to be a narcotic, police reported.
The man was transported to Tempe City Jail, booked and released pending charges, according to the police report.
- A 54-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested Sunday on suspicion of second-degree trafficking of stolen property and possessing drug paraphernalia, police reported.
The woman was found to be in possession of four stolen gold coins she was trying to sell at a coin show on the 600 block of North Scottsdale Road, according to the police report.
When searched upon arrest, the suspect was found to have two methamphetamine pipes in a bag, police reported.
The stolen coins were brought to the attention of law enforcement by a previewer of the show, according to the report.
The previewer had been contacted by a man who claimed the woman stole the property from him and described the coins in case the previewer came into contact with them, police reported.
The suspect said the coins were given to her by a friend whose name and location she did not know, according to the police report.
The woman was booked into the Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge.
