Age: 49

Occupation: Manufacturing Manager/Business Owner
Why are you running for office/reelection?
Concern about economy and state budget/deficit.
What experience qualifies you for the position?
I am a career entrepreneur with extensive experience managing budgets, providing leadership and uniting opposing viewpoints.
What do you think is the most important issue of the election?
The state budget/deficit. The state and the country need leaders with strong backgrounds and experience in budgeting, economics and leadership. Fiscal conservativism is needed now more than ever before.
If elected, what would you want your relationship with ASU to be?
I have two children attending ASU at this time. I am familiar with the challenges facing the education field in Arizona and will continue to support efforts to revitalize, update and improve our educational system.
Why should ASU students want to elect you? For an improved job market and better educational opportunities in Arizona for themselves and their children.
What is the No. 1 change you want to see in your district?
Participation by the constituency in the legislative process. Apathy and dissatisfaction with the status quo do not solve problems or improve the status quo.
