Why are you running for office/re-election?

To give back to my community. My neighbors, customers and friends encouraged me to run.

What experience qualifies you for the position?

I served in the Arizona House for four years.

What do you think is the most important issue of the election?

Budget, economy, health care and education.

If elected, what would you want your relationship with ASU to be?

The West campus is in my district. I have and will continue to encourage its growth and commitment to its students.

Why should ASU students want to elect you?

My daughter is going to the West campus for her masters in special ed. Many students I coached at Greenway H.S. attend the West campus.

What is the No. 1 change you want to see in your district?

Health care issues

What would your contributions to the community be?

I fully expect to be once again the chairman of the House Health Committee and will continue my work on improving health care for all Arizonans.
