Tempe police reported the following incidents Thursday:
- A 35-year-old Fort Defiance, Ariz. man was arrested early Thursday morning on charges of aggravated DUI on the 1000 block of East Apache Boulevard.
The man was stopped on suspicion of DUI and displayed signs of impairment during field tests, according to the police report.
When taken to the Tempe DUI Van, the man registered blood-alcohol-levels of 0.21 and 0.223, the report stated.
Further investigation showed the man was driving with a revoked license, according to the report.
The man was transported to Tempe City Jail where he was booked and held to see a judge.
- A 43-year-old Scottsdale woman was arrested Wednesday evening on the 1200 block of North Fourth Street on charges of providing false information and violating her probation.
The woman was stopped for suspicious activity as she was walking down an alley, according to the police report.
When asked for her name, the woman gave police her sister's name, the report stated.
Following a check on the name, police found the woman was violating her probation and had her sister's name listed as known aliases, according to the report.
ASU police reported the following incidents Thursday:
- A 19-year-old male ASU student reported his vehicle had been broken into sometime Tuesday in the Stadium Parking Structure.
The student had parked his vehicle in the afternoon and when he returned that evening, his ASU decal was missing, according to the police report.
The vehicle couldn't be secured due to a previous break in that had left the rear window broken, the police report stated.
There are currently no suspects, leads or witnesses.
- A 56-year-old male ASU employee reported a theft early Wednesday morning at the south side of the Research Support Services Building.
Sometime between Monday and Wednesday, six spools of wire were stolen from the back of a golf cart parked near the building, according to the police report.
The employee said that the fence near the building doesn't completely surround it and is rarely locked, the police report stated.
There are surveillance cameras in the parking lot, but they weren't functioning properly at the time of the incident, according to the report.
The case is pending and the estimated loss is $500.
