Letter to the Editor: ASU's beauty dependent on student and state demands

John,

Good analysis.

At the end of the day it is the case that we would all love to make improvements, and we are.

At the end of the day our resource base is critical.

We have about $12,000 per student per year. UCLA ... more than $20,000. They have a few more bucks for the pace [sic] than we do.

Their tuition is $3,500 more per year per students. For us at ASU that alone would be more than $200 million in new annual revenue.

At the end of the day we need our students and state to really demand a better everything, as you are.

Hope you are having a nice summer.

Michael Crow
